The city of Vysoké Tatry started the Housing census from 1 June 2020.
Head of the Department of Property, Investment, Regional Policy and Projects; City of High Tatras; Ing. Eugen Knotek, CSc .:
The city of Vysoké Tatry started the Housing census from 1 June 2020. There are 3 authorized persons working on the census, who were trained. Census work is very complicated and demanding in our city owing to a large territory. Most owners of dwellings do not have a permanent residence in the city and it is difficult to contact them. The city addressed the housing administrators. We have sent them spreadsheets, in which administrators enter the necessary census data.
A smooth realization of the census in Bratislava-Petržalka district is mainly thank to a good cooperation with administrators.
Head of the Municipal Office of the Bratislava-Petržalka district; Petra Vančová:
As regards the number of population and housing, a smooth realization of the census in the Bratislava-Petržalka district is mainly thank to a good cooperation with administrators. Therefore, we are currently try to obtain as many live contacts as possible in order to collect the best possible information of high quality from administrators. The Statistical Office, as a census coordinator, helps us and operatively solves problems and ambiguities with us, so that the legal deadlines are met
So far, we are only in an initial preparatory work.
Head of the Registry and Residence Registration Office; Banská Bystrica; Marta Čellárová:
So far, we are only in an initial preparatory work, we have published information on the census for housing administrators, we are also preparing an official letter for them, by which we address them to cooperate in the Housing census. We put together a team of people, who are involved in supplementing the data from the city's sources (final approval decisions, records), and they started recording family houses.
Thanks to pre-filled questionnaires, this census was faster than in the past.
Mayor of Šuja; Žilinský kraj; Michal Pastorek:
Thanks to pre-filled questionnaires, this census was faster than in the past. We were able to obtain documents from available sources in the office, we also acquire more information directly from the people, we asked during a visit of the office, which they did on another occasion.
The basis for a quick census was an order in the buildings.
Mayor of Dunajská Lužná; Štefan Jurčík:
The basis for a quick census was an order in the buildings and good work of our employees, who work with census numbers and had a great overview of the village of Dunajská Lužná. They deserve my thanks. The 2021 Population and housing census is a very important project for Dunajská Lužná. Our village is known for a complicated traffic situation and 2021 Census is a good launch pad for its solution. Many residents, who have a real estate here, do not claim a permanent residence in the village.
We carry out the census thanks to a good mutual cooperation of the employees of the Municipal Office with the management companies.
Mayor of Revúca; Ing. Július Buchta:
I am very pleased, that in the first phase of the 2021 Population and housing census, which is also done by an integrated fully electronic system for the first time in history, we are at first place among cities with more than 10 000 inhabitants. We managed to conduct the Housing census at 99 percent in such a short time since starting the largest project of the Statistical Office of the SR. This is precisely thanks to a good mutual cooperation of the employees of the Municipal Office with the management companies.
The village of Rastislavice was the first to register all dwellings in the system.
Mayor of Rastislavice; Miroslav Juhasz:
We are a small village, we do not have many dwellings, but the electronic census system suits us, is very clear and works well in it. We were able to count dwellings in this way mainly thanks to a skilful employee of the local office, who has a great overview of the whole village. Of course, we are pleased with the primacy.
