For the purposes of the 2021 Census, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic has defined groups of "homeless people" in the context of international recommendations.

Analysis of indicators characterising educational level, career level and interregional brain drain, processed on the basis of the 2021 Population and Housing Census results. It contains the values of unique indicators analysing the educational level and the career attainment of the population in the individual territorial units of the Slovak Republic in relation to mobility, and it includes also the definition of the natural regions of the Slovak Republic, based on commuting to work.

The latest prognosis of the population development of the Slovak Republic was calculated at the end of 2022, based on the 2021 Population and Housing Census results. In contrast to previous prognoses, the horizon of this prognosis includes an additional 20 more years, i.e. until 2080.
