European Statistics Competition 2024 ALSO ABOUT DATA FROM SODB 2021

The Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic is launching the second edition of the European Statistics Competition 2023/2024, which is aimed at secondary school students. With practical tasks, the competition teaches how to find and use verified facts from official data sources. The activity is implemented by the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with Eurostat (the statistical office of the European Union), under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. Competitive teams of up to three students can be registered by their tutors (teachers) from 7 November 2023 to 7 December 2023. In this edition, secondary school students will also work with data from 2021 Census.
