Publication established on the basic of results of the 2021 Census

The National Analytical Report, published by the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic on 30 June 2023 is an innovative publication product. The introductory chapters of the publication are devoted to the history of the census and introducing the concept of the 2021 Census. The analysis of the development of population, houses and dwellings, as well as dwelling households and census households in the third chapter is based on a comparison of results over time, as well as on a regional perspective. The thematic analyses that make up the fourth chapter include topics such as types of residence of residents, residents in non-conventional dwellings, ethnicity, religiosity, socio-economic status of the population, foreigners in Slovakia, residents living abroad, homeless people, mobility for work, family households.
